Job description
We are looking for a charismatic teacher to join our small Tadworth school. We are a therapeutic school, delivering a trauma informed model to pupils aged 5-16 years of age.
We have a small class of five pupils with cognitive differences and deliver a pathways curriculum focusing on life skills, horse riding, climbing, English and Mathematics Asdan qualifications.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with pupils with additional needs and will have an understanding of behavioural management.
You will be supported by their current teacher our Assistant Head, who will be able to model our trauma informed practice and support you getting to know the pupils.
Ideally we would like a newly qualified teacher, but we are an inclusive organisation, so are open to all.
You will be required to fulfill the duties of a teacher daily and have regular contact with our parents/families.
We have a well formed team who are always willing to support new staff members.
As a model we have trauma informed practitioners who support teachers throughout the day to ensure you can provide quality teaching.
Ideally we would like a teacher full time, but would be open to job sharing with the Assistant Head.
You will receive a high level of CPD and career progression.
