Your new school
This fantastic Primary School based in Willenahll is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them. Receiving a "GOOD" in their last Ofsted report, this school believes that all children should be provided with a wide range of opportunities to develop and grow as an individual who shapes their own future. They aim to equip our children with the skills, knowledge and self-belief to flourish and seize the opportunities the world offers.
Your new role
You will be supporting a small group of KS2 children with SEN in the morning with basic Literacy and Numeracy interventions and in the afternoon supporting a Year 5 class. You will be working from 8:30am - 3:30pm from Monday to Friday. Strong communication skills, a firm but calm, kind and gentle approach and use of initiative are all essential in this role, to support the child's academic progress.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
You must have a L2/L3 teaching assistant qualification.
You will be required to have experience supporting pupils.
You will need strong communication skills, especially when working. 1:1
You will need to have experience working with a child with SEN.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a £75-£90 per day (depending on experience).
