For this highly diverse role, we are keen to hear from you if you have demonstrable success in a Team Lead position ideally in a Technical Environment.
Due to the secure nature of this project, we require single UK Nationals. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV), Security Check (SC), level. This position will also require working on site at a CGI office in Leatherhead or Reading 2-3 days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities
The Project Support Office (PSO), supports the programme in its delivery, working with teams to deliver results aligning with the contract. We are looking for a Team Lead to support the programme with a broad range of activities including On-boarding, recruitment, reporting, and asset management. A key focus of this role is to lead a growing PSO Team, overseeing their tasks to ensure dedicated project office support is provided smoothly and efficiently to the projects and the wider programme.
• Daily organisation, planning and tasking of PSO Team Members/ PSO activities
• Management of PSO mailboxes and the PSO / Programme calendars
• Being the main point of contact for PSO Team Members queries
• Responsibility for the quality of PSO team output, i.e. Implementing appropriate governance
• Contribution to, and support of PSO processes, procedures and tooling e.g. iTools
• Escalation and issue management
• Process creation, management, and improvement
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Demonstrable success of managing a team in a Technical environment
• Experience of leading a team to deliver against SLA's and KPI's
• Ability to lead and drive a team to deliver a best in class service
• First class communication skills at all levels
• Strong Organisational and time management attributes
• Posses an analytical approach with a keen eye for process improvement
