Position Title: Mid Day Supervisor
Position Details: To work from 12.00pm to 1.15pm Monday to Friday (6 hours 15 minutes per week)
Part-timePermanent (probation period applies)Term time only
Salary Details: Grade: 1
SCP: From 1 to 4
Salary: From £22,366 to £23,114 pro rata
Employment Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsible for supervising and monitoring pupils during lunchtime period, and encouraging lunchtime play activities. Responding to incidents as necessary, giving first aid, dealing with unacceptable behaviour, encouraging positive social interaction and good behaviour. Assisting children to partake in eating their lunches and development of meal time skills.YSGOL Y LLAN VA PRIMARY SCHOOL - GROWING & LEARNING TOGETHER THROUGH FAITH, FRIENDS AND FUNThe governors and Headteacher of Ysgol y Llan Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and Midday Supervisory Assistant to undertake the supervision of the pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises along with any other ancillary duties detailed in the job description.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL NEED:
• To have basic knowledge of health & safety requirements in a school environment.
• To be calm, caring and empathetic, having respect for the health and wellbeing of all pupils.• To have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
• To be able to engage children in activities.
As a Church in Wales School, prospective candidates would be expected to support and promote our Christian Ethos.

Interview Date: Week commencing 18th March 2024
