Behaviour Mentor Opportunities in Bromley Location: Bromley
Salary: £85 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP, January 2024
Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent
Are you a committed, strong person who is passionate in helping pupils with their behavioural development? GSL Education is pleased to provide a fantastic opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to work in vibrant Bromley secondary schools.
About the Position: Behaviour Mentor You will be essential in fostering an environment where students feel encouraged and supported in your work as a behaviour mentor. This is a fantastic chance for a proactive and caring person to truly impact the lives of students who might struggle with behavioural issues. Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor: - Develop positive relationships with students who have behavioural issues by offering them individualized support.
- Put into practice efficient behaviour control techniques to establish a favourable learning environment.
- Work together with educators and other school personnel to meet the requirements of each individual kid.
- Encourage and mentor students, helping them to have a positive outlook on their schooling.
- Take part in the creation and execution of programs for behavioural intervention.
- Make use of innovative and captivating strategies to assist students' behavioural and emotional health.
Requirements as a Behaviour Mentor: - Proven experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilience and adaptability to work with diverse student needs.
