Learning Support assistant - Brent - £83.75/£100 a day - start ASAP - Mainstream Primary School for a year 2 class.

The role - Learning support assistant:
You will be working as a learning support assistant in a year 2 class working on a 1:1 basis with a child with Autism. You must have at least 1 year experience working with children with Autism, Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification DBS (child work force) to be on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one. You will be working in a year 2 class supporting the child with class work, assisting with personal care and doing daily observations on child's development. − To monitor and record pupil progress and developmental needs. − To produce relevant classroom resources. − To undertake classroom administrative tasks including the maintenance of records. − To assist in pupil supervision and assist in the management of pupil behaviour.
