I am currently working with a highly reputable leisure organisation who are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant in the Blackburn area which is situated near Burnley and Preston. This is an exciting role working for a fantastic company who are looking for someone to join them on their journey. You will report directly to the Financial Controller and will become his number two. This is a full-time permanent position (37.5 hours).

Key responsibilities within this role would be:

• Sales and Purchase ledger
• Supplier Reconciliations
• Month end procedures
• Accruals and pre-payments
• Reporting
• Cashbook

What we are looking for?

• Strong excel skills
• 2-3 years' experience within a similar role
• High attention to detail
• Willing to learn and develop new skills
