Financial Accountant
Hereford
Salary up to 50k

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Financial Accountant to join the team in a fantastic role within the education sector. As part of their Finance Department, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Finance function.

The role is fully office based and comes with some fantastic benefits! You'll have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals within a motivating and supportive working environment, while enjoying a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum.

WHO WOULD THIS ROLE SUIT:

As the Financial Accountant, you will regularly collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and report directly to them for the daily oversight and operation of the accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the education sector, however, this isn't a dealbreaker. If you have previous experience within a senior Finance position, we want to hear from you! 

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Managing the Accounts Department
• Budget Reviews
• Management Accounts
• Forecasting
• Annual Accounts
• Auditing

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experience working in a school is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working for a charity would be desirable.
• Previous experience within a senior finance position.
• An acocunting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
