We are looking for a highly motivated Social Media Assistant to support our marketing team in executing and optimizing our social media strategy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various social media platforms, create engaging content, interact with our online community, and help enhance our online presence..
Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Create visually appealing and engaging social media content, including text, images, videos, and graphics. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and schedule content calendars for various platforms.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all social media channels.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms. Build positive relationships with our online community and encourage meaningful interactions.
- Identify and escalate customer inquiries or concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns. Provide regular reports and insights to the marketing team, making recommendations for improvement.
- Social Media Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing. Recommend innovative strategies and tactics to enhance our social media presence.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals. Collaborate with graphic designers, content writers, and other team members to create compelling content.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh content ideas.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Further Information
Location: Unit 5, Ballyore Business Park. The Employer is: LIQUID CREATIONS LTD.
Salary: 16/17 £5.28, 18/20 £7.49, 21/22 £10.18, 23/24 £10.42 per hour.
Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
