Resident Medical Officers - Anatomy Demonstrator
Brighton Hospital | Doctor | 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract | Full Time
Up to £40,000.00 per annum depending on experience plus a £2,500 end of year retention bonus
38.5 hours per week

Our Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital are working in partnership with Brighton & Sussex Medical School (BSMS) and have a dual role opportunity to become a Resident Medical Officers (RMO) and Medical Anatomy Demonstrator.
The role of RMO is in conjunction with that of Anatomy Demonstrator at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School, where you will play an important role in their students' development through guidance, support and delivery of high-quality anatomical teaching. The RMO/Demonstrator role is an attractive 12-month fixed term post for those wishing to develop teaching, clinical and research skills.
The post offers mentorship through MRCS examinations and the opportunity to study for a fully funded Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Medical Education. When you join us at the hospital, you will also support the nursing team and be a pivotal link between consultant and patient in all specialities, including urology (inc. gender affirmation surgery), gynaecology, ENT, ophthalmology, general surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, SACT & other specialities.
We expect all RMO/Demonstrators to be enthusiastic teachers, good communicators, have excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to work within a team effectively and cooperatively. RMOs are required to take part in a 1:5 rotation as Resident Medical Officer at the Nuffield Health Hospital, Brighton.
All applicants must have full GMC registration and have a valid certificate in ALS and, preferably EPALS, but willing to undertake an EPLS on commencing the role.
