Role: Reliability Engineer

Location: Hayes

Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri Days (with some flexibility according to business needs)

Salary: £45,000

Our client is a certified B Corp searching for a Reliability Engineer to join their Hayes site!

This is an ideal position for a skilled engineer with food/FMCG experience. You'll use your mechanical and electrical knowledge to implement Preventative, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance and work to minimise production downtimes.

What you'll be doing

• Increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) levels and implement line improvements through PPMs
• Deep dive into reoccurring issues and remove current roadblocks to maximise machine availability
• Preventative, Predictive and Corrective maintenance
• Support installations of new machinery and trials
• Reduce line changeover times and assist in training for autonomous maintenance
• Assist Production Engineers during breakdowns if their workload exceeds their capacity
• Support Project Engineers with installation, final execution, ramp up, and handover to Production
• Write-ups of breakdown recovery instructions and lessons learnt
• Help to source parts from suppliers

About you

• Previous FMCG/Production line experience essential
• Strong understanding of manufacturing & production equipment
• Comfortable working alone and in a collaborative environment with Operations and the Maintenance Planner to assist the wider Engineering team
• Proactive thinker
