Job description
We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager on behalf of a leading outdoor space creator who specialises in the design supply installation and maintenance of highquality outdoor spaces and offer a wide portfolio that includes landscaping play areas skate parks and outdoor sports equipment for such as housing developers commercial developers local authorities and private clients.
On offer is a salary of up to 35000(OTE Guide 45000) and a generous and open ended results based commission scheme company car or car allowance laptop mobile phone etc.
As the Area Sales Manager you will be:
- Working closely with the Sales Director and wider senior team to achieve set sales targets.
- Looking to further develop business with existing clients on upcoming housing developments and commercial build projects.
- Proactively looking to secure and increase business by identifying and targeting business within the social housing and commercial development sector.
- Working closely with design and estimating teams to ensure project designs meet client expectations specifications and cost requirements.
Requirements
To be considered as the Area Sales Manager you will need:
- A good understanding of the social housing sector and key developers working within this.
- An understanding of main and subcontractors.
- Strong business development account management and relationship building skills.
- Excellent organisational time management and planning skills.
- To be happy to travel to meet with existing and potential new clients.
- Good listening and attention to detail skills to ensure you understand what clients want to achieve with their outdoor space and can confidently take this through the design and estimating process and put together a business winning sales proposal and quote.
- Ideally landscaping playground or outdoor fitness related experience.
