Role Overview:
The Graduate Software & Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the Software & Systems Engineers
in developing and maintaining robust software solutions to meet the needs of the business, using a wide range of
platforms and technologies, while adhering to best practices.
General Duties/Key Responsibilities:
The work of a Graduate Software & Systems Engineer includes assisting Software & Systems Engineers and Software
Developers in the following:
• Requirements analysis
• Design
• Development
• Documentation
• Testing
• Deployment
• Monitoring and troubleshooting
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills and Abilities
• Software development (mainly Android, Jakarta EE, React)
• Relational database design and migration
• Good knowledge of software design patterns and the SOLID principles
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Time management
• Independent problem solving

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
