About the role

Balfour Beatty is currently recruiting a Substation Protection & Control Design Engineer to work within Substation Design. This role can be based within any of our Power, Transmission and Distribution offices in: Derby, Glasgow Leeds, Newcastle or Kintore. We are open to both full time and part time candidates (including job share), and offer a flexible working policy.

The main function of the role is to engineer the control, protection and any other secondary designs for electrical substation projects up to a voltage of 400kV.

The employee would need to become capable of delivering the role specifics related to the Substation Protection & Control Design Engineering function.
