Field Service Engineer
Location: South West England, Devon, Exeter
Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Are you an experienced field service engineer in visiting multi-sites testing water and taking remedial action? Have you got a biochemical background working within lab testing water or similar and keen to get back into the field?
Job Duties:
- Providing field service support for engineering equipment and systems
- Performing installations, repairs, and maintenance of machinery
- Diagnosing technical issues and providing solutions
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance
- Testing and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Documenting service reports and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with customers to address their needs and concerns
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and industry regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
- Valid driving licence
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software
- Experience in conducting inspections and preventive maintenance
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
