Accounts Assistant / Accounts Payable 

 

* Permanent full time role based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire

* Salary up to £28,000 based on experience 

* Free onsite parking

* Well established and growing company

 

An industry leading company based in Hertfordshire are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team. Duties will include:

- Purchase ledger/ accounts payable 

- Processing invoices and expense claims using the in-house accounting software

- Arranging of payments

- Reconciliation of statements 

- Supporting supplier and general accounts queries

- Supporting with credit control when required

 

To be considered suitable you will need the following:

- Ability to commute to Hatfield Monday - Friday

- Previous experience as an Accounts Administrator/ Purchase Ledger Assistant

- Experience with Word, Excel and accounting software

- Well organised and a personable and helpful personality

 

 

Please note you will need to be a car driver given the company location on the outskirts of Hatfield. It is easily commutable from neighbouring locations such as St Albans, Potters Bar, Watford and Waltham Cross. Hours of work are 7.30am - 4.30pm due to the nature of the industry. Slightly reduced hours may be considered for the right person.
