Full time, Permanent
£10.42 to £10.62 per hour

Our client has been making life better for people for twenty years and they operate many single Supported Living houses, giving people with learning difficulties, mental health issues, autism, acquired brain injuries who may often present with complex and challenging support needs, the ability and confidence to build their independence with the appropriate level of support and care to settle them into the community.

They are now looking for Support Workers to join their team.

As a Support Worker, you will be an essential member of the team with a friendly, calm, and compassionate approach. You will provide support and enable their clients to fulfil their ambitions and potential. Together, you and our client, will ensure you make a positive difference in their client’s lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to clients with a variety of needs including Learning Disabilities
• Work flexibly on a rota including some weekends and evenings
• Work alongside their clients assisting with budgeting monies and assist with household bills
• Administration of prescribed medication
• In some cases, assist with meal preparation
• Assist with all daily living tasks
• Access activities within the local community
• Provide a person-centred approach following detailed care plans
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
