About the Role:
Paragon Education is currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Art for a school in Bromsgrove. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop students' creativity and artistic skills, fostering their passion for the visual arts.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and innovative art lessons, incorporating a variety of techniques, mediums, and artistic styles to captivate students' interest and inspire their creativity.
Teach students fundamental principles of art, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital media, encouraging experimentation and self-expression.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students as they develop their artistic skills, supporting their progress and growth as artists.
Organize and oversee practical art projects and workshops, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students can explore and express their artistic talents.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across the curriculum and contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, exhibitions, and events.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
Specialization or experience in teaching art at the secondary level, with a strong portfolio of artistic work and a passion for the visual arts.
Proficiency in a range of artistic techniques and mediums, with the ability to teach and inspire students across various disciplines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in their artistic learning journey.
Commitment to promoting creativity, self-expression, and cultural appreciation through the visual arts, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
