Job description
Technical Consultant - Permanent - Up to £55k base + package - South East UK
You'll be responsible for the design, implementation, integration and support of solutions for the management of customer's hardware and software assets, including licence repositories, discovery tools and barcoding solutions; along with pre-sales demonstration, proof of concept delivery and RFI/RFP technical content for the above tools. You'll need to have extensive Licence tooling knowledge and experience, including Frontrange, Flexera, Snow, Aspera SmartTrack, USU etc and practical knowledge of Microsoft server products such as: o Windows Server, SCCM, Exchange, familiarity with SQL and SQL Scripting and an awareness of ITIL/IT Service Management concepts. Be familiar with Linux/Unix, security/permissions and Firewalls, licence and/or asset management concepts and best practice and an understanding of licensing terms, metrics and issues; If you have any experience in designing technical solutions for discovery, dependency mapping, asset life cycle, barcoding and licence management tools, including Aspera, Flexera and Snow this will help your applicationInterQuest Group is acting as an employment agency for this vacancy.
