Job description

The post is offered as full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Slightly reduced hours may be considered subject to the postholder working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.

Term-time, plus 5 training days, plus 1 additional week to be worked during the school holidays.

An exciting opportunity to join our friendly team at Greater Peterborough UTC as an HR Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the HR and recruitment administration at the school. The role has wide ranging responsibilities and reports to the school Principal. (The postholder will be supported by the Trust’s Core team for the Peterborough hub, including an HR Manager, Senior HR Adviser and an HR Officer.) The HR Officer will be fully involved with the provision of high quality HR support through the complete life cycle of all employees.

The HR Officer is expected to demonstrate excellent administrative support skills and show a pro-active approach. They will be able to balance a busy and varied workload with a professional and calm approach.
