Job description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Wirral to assist with the appointment of a SEN Review Officer, on a 2.5-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £16.57 per hour PAYE
Summary:
To support the Council to meet its statutory duties under part 3 of the Children & Families Act 2014 by supporting the development and coordination of the operational implementation of the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) review process.
Responsibilities:
To support the development and coordination of the operational implementation of the EHCP review process.
To carry out and maintain accurate and timely records and work processes in the team including use of relevant IT systems.
Work closely with families, schools and a range of service providers, including education, health, social care and voluntary sectors.
Ensure that the Council complies with the statutory timetable for the completion of statutory reviews.
Support the facilitation of meaningful, person-centred reviews of existing Education, Health and Care Plans.
Qualification:
Educated to degree standard.
Experience:
Experience of working with children and young people with SEN, and their families
Experience of preparing reports and/or person-centred plans
Experience of multi-agency and partnership working
Experience of managing a caseload
Experience of supporting the development and implementation of multi-agency processes

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires an enhanced DBS
