Exciting Opportunity for a Primary Teacher who has an interest in teaching pupils with Special Needs

Do you have experience teaching SEN pupils in mainstream and want to expand your skills?

We are working with several SEN Schools in Liverpool who are looking for Primary Teachers who have experience of teaching children who have a range of needs including Autism, SEMH and complex needs. All pupils have individual EHCP's so you will have clear guidance on targets to help with planning, the schools are purpose built and have fantastic facilities for pupils. They offer a supportive environment for staff and you will be working as part of a team to help provide pupils with a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Whether you a very experienced Primary teacher or newly qualified, we can offer you flexible working or full time roles at our SEN Schools. At The Connex Academy we will offer you SEND courses to help expand your knowledge and skills, the courses include; Effective Behaviour Management, Sensory Processing and Behaviour, Understanding Autism and SEND code of practice.

Roles and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant at our school, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing pupils with a personalised curriculum based on EHCP's
• Building positive relationships with pupils, getting to know triggers and managing behaviour
• Collaborating with TA's, therapists, and parents to create a holistic and effective support system.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with additional needs in a mainstream environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
