Job description
An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a UK supplier of high-value, high-tech, and high-quality commercial vehicle washing equipment alongside recyclable water solutions used in the transportation sector.
This home-based autonomous position covers the South and offers a basic salary of £45,000 per annum, plus uncapped commission with an achievable OTE of £75,000 – £80,000. You will also receive a range of benefits including a car allowance, pension, health plan, and 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
With a large budget allocated to digital marketing, this position focuses on converting inbound leads rather than cold calling, making it every salesperson’s dream. It’s a consultative solution sell, which requires expert qualification and project management skills, as well as a technical bias, as you will be recommending solutions ranging from £10k to £300k per project.
As Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Prospecting and developing sales to achieve budgets
Proposing technical and financial solutions.
Developing and maintaining customer relationships for single-site, multi-site, and national accounts.
Taking charge of sales proposals, documentation, and inputs into the CRM system.
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with the following skills and experience:
An industrial or engineering capital equipment sales background.
Evidence of delivering sales targets.
Experience in selling bespoke equipment and associated service costs.
Expert questioning and sales qualification skills.
