Description
We are seeking a diligent and organised Cleaner for School to join our team. As a cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of our school environment, ensuring a safe and sanitary space for students and staff.
Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
Empty and sanitize waste and recycling bins
Clean and disinfect washrooms and replenish necessary supplies
Assist with setting up and arranging furniture and equipment for events and meetings
Maintain inventory and request cleaning supplies as needed
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
Follow all health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with school policies
Requirements
Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects as required
Excellent communication skills to interact with students, staff, and visitors
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and usage of cleaning products
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times
Hours Per Week:
Start Time: 15:15
End Time: 17:15
Pay Per Hour: £10.42
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
