Puro Accountancy are pleased to be working with a well-established Accountancy Practice in Dudley, who are looking to add a Payroll Clerk to their team. If you are looking for a new opportunity and love all things payroll, then this is the one for you!


Benefits

The Role
  • Dealing with end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients within a payroll bureau environment
  • Processing a variety of pay frequencies i.e. monthly, 4-weekly, weekly, fortnightly.
  • Completion of statutory payment calculations i.e.. SSP, SPP, SMP etc, holiday calculations and AOE’s.
  • Processing payroll year ends, setting up new PAYE schemes, processing starters/leavers.
  • Uploading pension contributions to various provider platforms and setting up Nest pension schemes.
  • Dealing with multiple clients/answering a variety of payroll queries within timely manner.
  • Keeping up to date with payroll legislation.
You
  • At least 2 year payroll experience essential.
  • Experience working in bureau environment would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience of using payroll software.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word.
