Job description
We are looking for a Process & Operational Excellence Lead to join our IT team at Harrods. You will be will be responsible for identifying opportunities and taking them to the point of delivery. They will play a crucial role in driving business performance and productivity aligned with the company's strategy and vision. About The Role This role will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising Harrods’ commercial operations and processes. Initially with a focus on Buying & Merchandising, but with an eye on creating a framework for process optimisation that can be a foundation for the wider business it will ultimately contribute to the organisation's success by developing an innovative strategy to drive efficiency, growth and a continuous improvement mindset across Harrods. You will also; Identify areas for process improvement, gather and analyse data, and implement solutions to optimise buying and merchandising operations through prioritisation Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of continuous improvement practices and foster a culture of operational excellence Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement Lean principles and practices, aiming for waste reduction and process streamlining Develop the processes for delivering and maintain a roadmap, and delivering this initially, for buying and merchandising operational excellence initiatives Keep up to date on use of new tools, metrics, and processes that can potentially enhance business performance and productivity About You The ideal candidate will have previous years of experience in managing and administering projects on time and on build with proven ability to build relationships quickly. We are looking for someone who has the ability to turn ideas into detailed business requirements, and to effectively communicate those requirements as well as the ability to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic, fast paced environment. You will also; Positive and effective leadership with strong stakeholder management ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, and task delegation with tight deadline Previously developed strong governance mechanisms to deliver results.
