About Our Client

The client is an SME in the legal space and is going through a period of rapid growth. The role will be based at their offices in Stevenage (2 days a week).

Job Description

The Interim Finnacial Controller will oversee the financial operations of the organization, including the management of a small team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Comprehensive financial reporting, including monthly reports, budgeting, forecasting, 3-year financial plans, and statutory financial reporting
• Oversight of taxation affairs, cash flow, banking, borrowing arrangements, and collaboration with external specialist advisors
• Offering expert advice and implementing best practices to enhance revenue and reduce costs
• Efficient management and tracking of budget and accounting information, encompassing billing, collections, and tax-related data
• Managing relationships with External Auditors and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Supervising Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Payroll, Financial, and Management Accounting functions

The Successful Applicant

The successful Interim Financial Controller will be:

• A track record of carrying out senior interim finance positions
