Job description

Burley Lodge Equestrian Centre is a family run riding centre set in 180 acres of land in Shinfield, just south of Reading, Berkshire. We are a BHS approved centre with a highly commended status. Our equestrian centre houses 37 horses that are either full livery or working. We facilitate all riding abilities, providing private and group lessons, clinics, hacks, shows, stable management club, pony days, summer camps, tots toddles & much more….

We are looking to employ a full time instructor (5 days, including 1 weekend day + 1 late night) to join our friendly and experienced team where we pride ourselves in our high teaching standards and horse care. This job will include teaching groups ranging from beginners to advance level; however we are happy to help improve these skills and confidence as we go. Regular training will be provided and will include a variety of riding/lectures/observing other lessons to help gain experience.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with the following skills, experience and qualification:

• Minimum of BHS Stage 2 teach or equivalent • Safe Guarding/DBS (can be arranged with Burley Lodge) • First aid (can be arranged with Burley Lodge) • Hard working individual
