Job description
My client is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join them on a permanent basis. They have an impressive portfolio of clients of which you will be part of growing. Your main responsibilities will be Sales, Management and client relations.The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- A high-level of competency and proven track record in new sales.
- Excellent written and Verbal communication skills for clear interactions with Customers and Account Manager.
- Organisation skills for managing different customer cases simultaneously.
- Conflict Resolution skills
- In-depth Knowledge of sales process.
- Able to identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships and new products / services.
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
- Able to build relationships with new clients gauging their needs and developing proposals and quotes to address their needs.
- Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
- Able to attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new products / trends.
- Able to create development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projects and actively working towards achieving them.
- Must possess a strong understanding of the company’s products and competition in the industry and positioning.
- Assisting in managing and training the sales team.
- Achieve new customer sales targets set.
- Liaising with colleagues and Marketing Manager to develop sales and marketing strategies.
- Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met.
- Point of contact for all new inbound and outbounds leads and following these up.
- Must be a Team player and an ability to multi-task under pressure.
