The King David High School we have introduced a range of faculties which share good practice, foster a sense of competition and work collaboratively to improve pupil outcomes whole school.

This is an exciting opportunity for an English Teacher who has effectively demonstrated their ability to develop teaching and learning strategies across their department, engaged pupils both inside and outside the classroom and has consistently demonstrated improvements in student outcomes.

The English Department at King David High School is an excellent team of committed practitioners. Our primary aim is to develop pupils who recognise and enjoy the integral role and importance of communication in the wider world, as well as equipping them with the skills and confidence to become powerful and effective communicators in their own right. We strive to develop successful learners who are literate, creative and enquiring. Whilst we recognise the value of English as a core subject, we are passionate about encouraging our students to see its value beyond the classroom and examination success.

The King David High School is a warm and caring school which is consistently ranked amongst the top performing non-selective schools in the country. 

Based in Manchester, it is an Academy that educates children from the ages of 11 to 18. Our denomination is Jewish. At present, there are 780 students on roll.
