Operations Officer
Glasgow
Job Purpose:
- Help coordinate the smooth running of the Glasgow base which includes dealings with Bookings, Queries and our Flight Turnarounds.
- Be the face of the business providing world class service to our customers whilst ensuring a smooth transition from the start to finish of our customers journey through Signature Flight Support.

What you’ll be doing:
- Assist the day-to-day operations of the base, provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, visitors and crew in line with the Signature Service Programme.
- Run our Operations Department by responding to our customers and booking in flights, liaising effectively with airlines and brokers, ensuring good time keeping and organisational skills
- Carry out ramp services as required for the operation
- Providing assistance to Flight Crew and Passengers
- Liaise with ground handling services where necessary as directed by the customer and General Manager.
- Carry out fuel quality checks, bulking of fuel vehicle with Jet A1 at fuel yard and delivery of Jet A1 fuel to Customers’ Aircraft.
- Ensure that we adhere and comply with all requirements and guidelines stipulated by our Airport Authority and UK Border Force.
- Process accurate invoices.
- Ensure VIP lounge areas are upheld and ensure the highest level of cleanliness and presentation of all VIP areas.

- Responsible for performing their job in the safest manner to avoid or minimize the possibility of injury to self or others, damage to property or equipment, and harm to the environment. Know, recognize, and respect your personal limitations.
- Required to report all injuries or incidents including near misses, spills, to a supervisor immediately. All employees involved in or witness to an incident will provide information to the supervisor conducting the investigation.
- Thoroughly understand and comply with each HS&E policy applicable to their work environment.

About You:
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in an operational environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- IT Literate and proficiency in using Microsoft Office programmes – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Additional languages are desirable.
- Valid and clean driving licence
