Job description
Central Employment Marketing division are working with a long term client based in Macclesfield, a true market leader in Supply, Customisation and Personalisation of Sportswear across the globe.
They have a new opportunity within their eCommerce & IT functions for a SAP Project Administrator, supporting the IT and Project Manager on the delivery of a new SAP & ERP solution.
- 6 month fixed term contract
- On-site full time role
- Own transport is required
SAP Project Administrator profile
We are in the process of implementing the SAP Business 1 ERP system across 3 business units. We are looking for a SAP Project Administrator to join our team and support the Project Manager.
As the Project Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of each of the project elements and supporting the wider teams and business units reach completion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor project timelines to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Provide administrative support to project manager and co-ordinators as necessary for the successful completion of projects.
- Create and maintain project files and documentation including shared documents, project plans, and status reports.
- Ensure all project-related documents are up to date and properly stored to enable easy retrieval when required.
- Communicate with project managers to coordinate project work and ensure deadlines are met.
- Participate in meetings, take notes, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth execution of all projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with process owners, key users, and team members.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple project elements simultaneously.
- Experience in project coordination or administrative support.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- An understanding of ERP and or SAP systems
