Job description

Are you an experienced Sous or Head Chef looking for a new opportunity?

If so, look no further as Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with multiple clients within Stafford, Derby and Nottingham looking for a Head Chef to join and lead their brigades.

What duties will I be doing as a Head Chef?

• Supporting and helping the team to serve high-quality dishes.
• Supporting at the forefront to make all business decisions.
• Lead and develop a team within a busy kitchen.
• Be in control of your own GPs, Stock & Stock Takes, Rota's, Labour percentages and much more.
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene policies and regulations

What will you bring to the Head Chef role?

• Experience of working within a high-volume Gastropub/Restaurant and Hotel
• Currently working with good experience as either a Head Chef or Sous Chef
• Confidently able to lead and develop a kitchen team.
• Comfortable working with kitchen management systems and be intrigued to learn new ones and new ways of working.
• Flexible, hardworking, and reliable
• Be able to work well as part of a team.
• Good use of initiative
• Friendly customer service skills
• Good knowledge and qualifications with Food Safety & Hygiene practices

HOURS: Flexible rotas available upon applications and interviews

SALARY: up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
