Job description

Our client a builders merchants based on the outskirts of Truro are looking for a Class 2 Driver for an immediate start

This could lead to a permanent position based on a successful trial period.

Hourly Pay Rate:

• £13.30 Per Hour Standard Pay

​Shift Pattern:

• Basic hours 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday,

• 8am to 3.30pm Friday

Requirements:

• Full UK drivers’ license with a category C
• Digital Tacho Card
• Full CPC
• HIAB preffered but full training will be given

Job roles responsibilities :

• To off-load goods on site with the HIAB where applicable, complying with site Health and Safety regulations and Company policies.

• To work the hours necessary to make deliveries required but staying within the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours Regulations.

• Distribute company brochures to customers when delivering and gather information whilst on the road and on site regarding new potential customers and projects.

• Ad hoc duties as required by the Yard Foreman / General Manager.
