Eligibility Criteria
A substantive Detective Superintendent who has been promoted for 12 months or more at the closing date.
A minimum of COP PIP2 Manager accreditation and willingness to work towards PIP4.
Completion of the Senior Investigating Officer Course and associated modules.
Be able to demonstrate experience of commanding major and serious organised crime.
Experience in the management of Strategic and Complex investigations.
Satisfactory Appraisals over the last 2 years (please email [email protected] ).
Not subject to any current live written warning or final written warning issued under the Police (Conduct) Regulations.
Not subject to any live Written Improvement Notices for performance or attendance issued under Police (Performance) Regulations or a reduction in rank under those procedures in the previous 18 months.
An acceptable level of attendance.

Level 2 Welsh is required however if you do not have this, you would be expected to reach Level 2 within 12 months of you promotion appointment.
Successful candidates must be prepared to undergo vetting to MV/SC level.
