Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently working with an International Freight Forwarding company looking for a Sales Executive for their site in Gravesend.

The company delivers national and international logistics supply chain solutions. By air, sea, rail, road, courier and specialist cargo we deliver efficiency. Reducing costs, improving performance, simplifying compliance and delivering innovation throughout the supply chain.

Sales Executive Position Overview

• Build business by identifying and selling the company’s Services, maintaining relationships with clients.
• Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analysing sales options.
• Selling their services by establishing contact and developing relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Acting as a point of contact between customers and companies.
• Negotiating with Shipping Lines
• Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
• Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Based at our Gravesend, Kent office but also willing to travel to our LHR office and around the UK.

Sales Executive Position Requirements

• At least five 5 years of sales experience within the Air/Sea/Road/Rail and Courier industry.

Sales Executive Position Remuneration

• Salary £40K Circa Dependant on experience
• 20 days holiday per annum increasing to 25 plus paid Public Holidays
• Annual attendance bonuses
• Working Hours 9:00am – 5:30pm
• Standard pension
• Car Allowance (TBD)
