Client Associate

Are you passionate about working with customers, to better understand their energy and sustainability needs and to help find solutions to drive success? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our UK-based Client Management team as a Client Associate in our Sustainability Division. You will be joining a team that is vital to the future success of the business, and you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our European customer base supporting them in their energy and sustainability needs.

Position Summary:

Your key responsibility will be to engage with existing customers to build beneficial and long-lasting business relationship. A key part of this will be to co-ordinate internal teams to ensure we deliver services to our customers in a timely manner. As well as working with customers to better understand their needs and to seek solutions from our suite of energy, sustainability, and efficiency services. Initially you will start by supporting an existing Client Manager with their portfolio of clients, at the same time managing a smaller portfolio of customers yourself. In time a successful candidate will manage their own portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Foster strong client relationships through effective formal and informal communication, understanding their business operations, key contacts, risk tolerance, and industry challenges.
• Arranging client meetings, preparing meeting materials, and confidently engaging with clients at all organisational levels.
• Effectively oversee and manage the customer's ongoing projects.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive information delivery to customers, enhancing their experience.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of commodity markets and diverse country-specific regulations.
• Acquire knowledge of our sustainability services and how these might benefit our clients.

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication and presentation skills are a key requirement
• Excellent organisation skills, as well as the ability to deal with tasks simultaneously
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Some experience in the energy market is preferred
• Good use of Excel and other data processing software
• Good level of analytical skills
• College diploma or degree or equivalent experience in a similar Client Associate role in the Sustainability space
• Other EU language skills would be advantageous but not a requirement
