Job description

Kinetic Industrial are working alongside a global company and leading partner to the energy industry, and due to expansion plans, they are looking to recruit Stores Operative for their site in Farnborough.

Initially on a 12-month rolling contract, you will be working alongside the warehouse supervisor ensuring that the goods in and goods out procedures run smoothly and in accordance with company procedures, policies, and guidelines.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 0730 to 1630 and Fridays 0730-1230.

Rate of pay £13.50 per hour.

The Stores Operative will have a mix of duties. You will be working in stores department, dealing with stock coming in from vendors, and stock moving through and around the company, as well as dealing with external sales orders and deliveries out of the company.

The role:

• Receiving goods into stores areas in a timely manner
• Accurately checking and booking goods in on the warehouse management system
• Putting goods away into the appropriate locations
• Supplying production using system-generated picking lists
• Satisfying all store requirements in a fast and responsive way
• Handling stock with care at all times
• Ensuring the accuracy of goods stock levels
• Picking and packing of outbound deliveries
• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing vehicles
• Following company procedures and work in a safe manner
• Ensuring that all store's areas are maintained

Requirements:

• Previous experience in stores and production environments/processes
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous
• A valid Fork Lift Truck Counterbalance license
• A valid driver's licence
• Experience of SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel and outlook
• A team player with good communications skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Details:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
• £13.50 per hour
• 12-month contract with the opportunity to go permanent
• Overtime available
