Service Manager/Service Delivery Manager (working from home)
Looking for a commercially aware Service Delivery Manager. The SDM must have Agile experience and have managed complex technical IT environments delivering to large scale Blue Chip organisations. You will be responsible for outsourced Incident Management service to you and a global events . You will also be responsible for task managing a few Service Co-Ordinator's. Must have strong relationship management skills , do not apply if you do not have it please. Must have implemented and managed Incident, Problem and Change management and also done some Service Design or Service Transition in the past . Ideally someone who has delivered to challenging SLAs / KPIs , a natural in front of a customer and someone who can manage demanding internal stakeholders. Anyone who has strong Stakeholder Management experience would excel in this role. At home managing project managers and business people as well as technical people.. You will NOT have a team under you but will be accountable for projects and service delivered into internal and external stakeholders. Any exposure to Shared Service environments would be of benefit.
This is a home based roe but you would need to travel on average 1 day a week to either Manchester/Birmingham or Hertfordshire so based in or close to any of theses locations is ideal.
