Payrate: £26.75-£38.19 per hour + statutory holiday pay

Location : University Centre Peterborough

QRS are working on behalf of Inspire Education Group and are looking for a Lecturer to cover the below modules on a temporary basis to start ASAP.

Modules to cover:

• Introduction to typesetting and InDesign & Book cover design using Photoshop Mondays 11-1pm
• Level 6 Digital Visual Effects – Tuesdays 1-4pm
• Level 5 Integrated Advertising – Thursdays 9-2noon
• Level 4 Intro to Graphic Design – Fridays 9-12noon
• Level 4 Website Design – Fridays 1-2.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Delivering lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students in a specific subject area
• Preparing and organizing course materials, including syllabi, handouts, and assignments
• Conducting assessments and grading student work
• Keeping up-to-date with developments in the field of study and incorporating relevant information into lectures
• Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and improvement initiatives
• Participating in departmental meetings and committees as required

Experience:

• A minimum of a master’s degree in the relevant field is required; a doctoral degree is preferred
• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level is highly desirable
• Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in the subject area of instruction
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage students in active learning and promote critical thinking
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools for instruction
