Service Manager
Daventry, Northants
£35,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm – 1 hour lunch
Permanent
Our long established global Daventry client is looking to recruit a permanent Service Manager.
Service Manager Responsibilities:
- To manage all service and warranty issues on a day to day basis
- Liaise with our clients service centres with all repair issues that may arise both warranty and chargeable
- Prepare the service quotations and send them to customers and await their instruction on how to proceed and notify the service centre with their reply
- Answer customer queries regarding their warranty claims if declined and to reasons why
- Answer customer queries regarding quotations sent
- Complete all warranty claims on SAP
- Prepare the end of month reports to Germany
- As manager for the service department to ensure that members of the team are kept working during the day and assist with any problems that arise, with parts availability, collections etc
Service Manager requirements:
- Previous experience working within a service / technical support position
- Able to manage and respond to complaints providing satisfactory resolutions to our clients customers
- Excellent organisational skills
- Fully conversant with Microsoft packages
- SAP experience preferred
