We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Manager to become dedicated to our expertly-crafted Private Shopping division, on a 12 month fixed-term contract. About the Role Harrods are strategically investing in delivering a world-class luxury shopping service. The ambition is to propel the well-established Private Shopping service to a new level through a new and improved contemporary luxury space. We will be providing enhanced services and experiences for clients and you will be fully immersed into this space. You will be responsible for leading the development of a completely bespoke, elevated Private Shopping learning experience which reflects the service expected by our PS clients. You will be able to demonstrate clear commercial and business acumen to demonstrate a new service proposition which sets standards, expectations and etiquette. Getting under the skin of customer journeys, you will partner the Private Shopping Programme team to realise how incoming colleagues should be upskilled and immersed into the business. This is an extremely exciting time to join Harrods - a whole new wonder of opportunity awaits. As the Learning Manager, you will work on a hybrid basis. Due to the personalised nature of the service, you will be on site (Knightsbridge & Hammersmith) 3-4 days per week. About You Bringing your experience in learning & development management, you will have existing working knowledge of the luxury market from a customer-facing business – this could be luxury hospitality, retail or travel services. You will be established at building effective relationships with senior management and love to build connections within the wider business. You will also have: Experience in the design of skill/capability frameworks, and service standards or similar. Exceptional customer service focus (both internal and external, stakeholders and clients). Expertise and confidence in how to scope, design and deliver a complex L&D project, end-to-end and with minimum supervision, including budget management. An understanding of behavioural science, adult learning design principles and best practices. A keen interest in continual development within your market. Demonstrable experience of facilitating learning and training.
