Management Support Officer

Job description

Do you have a passion for customer service, supporting colleagues and delivering first class training? If so, our Management Support Officer position in our Get it Fixed Team (GIFT) could be the job for you! If you are a positive person who thrives off helping people, coaching and guiding staff whilst remaining calm we want to hear from you!

Your Homes Newcastle provides a wide range of services on behalf of Newcastle City Council; these include tenants reporting repairs to helping vulnerable customers following a fall. The GIFT are in place to support our staff that take these calls by answering complex queries, and train them on services to deliver an excellent level of customer service.

Specialising in Out of Hours, the successful candidates will be expected to work a mixture of typical office hours plus occasional late afternoon/evening to suit the needs of the business.

We have two positions available and will involve an element of Out of Hours work, so shift enhancements will be paid to reflect this. The MSO’s will work office hours but with the expectation to work evenings and/or weekends when required.
