Job Title: Talent Acquisition Partner (Maternity Cover)

Reports To: Talent Manager & Head of People Experience

PERSON

The People Experience Team are looking to appoint a temporary Talent Acquisition Partner to support the existing Talent Team.

The successful applicant should have a proven track record of filling vacancies with the best possible talent within an in-house or consultancy background.

You should be extremely well organised with the ability to work at pace, be self-motivated and manage your time and work load efficiently.

Communication is key, so you will need to be confident, proactive and prioritise your work accordingly

Retail sector experience would be preferable, but not essential. We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual with a genuine passion to recruit top talent in to the business.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Function:

To partner with business stakeholders in order to provide effective hiring solutions.

RECRUITMENT

• Manage head office vacancies across all functions and have a sound understanding of business departments. Be able to turn your hand to multiple different roles and specialisms at one time
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify internal talent and manage internal movements and promotions
• Working closely with the Talent Team to ensure aligned ways of working and a consistent approach to talent attraction
• Supporting retail management recruitment as/ when required
• Ensuring all applications are managed in a timely manner
• Continuously strive to improve our candidates experience
• Liaise with the HR team accordingly and partner with our Communication & Engagement Team
• Conducting initial first stage interviews/ screening calls with external applicants and making applicable recommendations to hiring managers
• Scheduling interviews and liaising with Hiring Managers across the business
• Liaising with the L&D Team when required to ensure any new starts or existing employees are provided with the up to date materials required for their inductions and/or continued learning
• Attend external stakeholder meetings and liaise with our suppliers when required
• Supporting the talent team with any ad hoc tasks and providing cover during annual leave
• Act as a brand ambassador and represent the business to the highest standard in order to attract applicable talent to our business

About the location

Neilson Square is the home of our original warehouse and distribution centre, as well as many head office functions. Situated in Livingston, our site is in-between Edinburgh and Glasgow and very easily reached by car and public transport.
