Job role: 1-1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Wakefield, Castleford (WF10)

Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

A Secondary School in Castleford are looking for an experienced 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with a hearing impairment. The successful candidate will not need to be trained in BSL but have excellent communication skills and support the child in lessons.

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
• Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
• Experience supporting children within a childcare setting
• Minimum of three months UK residency
• We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
• Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
