Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer
Location: Midlands
Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hrs a week, (08:00 – 17:00)

We have an urgent requirement for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join a dynamic team in the Midlands. As the Mechanical Project Engineer, you will place a crucial role in the successful delivery of MEPH schemes, focusing on Education and Commercial new builds. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the Company’s on-site representative, overseeing the installation of full mechanical packages ranging from £2-£6million.
Responsibilities - Liaison with clients, supply chain, delivery teams, and management
- Health & Safety management with support from QHSE manager
- Attendance at internal CVR/Progress meetings
- Financial management of projects, including procurement and costings assistance.
- Specification and ordering of materials.
- Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
- Management and briefing of installation personnel.
- Resolution of installation and access issues.
- Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
- Programme and project planning.
Qualifications & Experience - Previous experience with leading M&E Subcontractors
- Strong mechanical background
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- Relevant industry qualifications
- Experience in delivering the full mechanical package.
