Description of Role

We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Scheduler Field Service Planner to lead our scheduling operations with precision and finesse. This pivotal role involves overseeing the allocation of resources, managing scheduling processes, and ensuring seamless coordination to support our company's objectives. As Planner you will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement strategic resource scheduling plans to meet operational demands and business objectives.
- Coordinate with department heads and project managers to understand resource requirements and priorities.
- Utilize advanced scheduling software and tools to create optimized schedules that maximize resource utilization and minimize conflicts.
- Monitor and analyze scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts and develop solutions to mitigate risks and ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimize workforce allocation based on project needs and employee skill sets.
- Communicate scheduling changes and updates effectively to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across departments.
- Lead a team of scheduling coordinators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent adherence to scheduling processes and standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in scheduling and resource management.
- Adhering to compliance requirements for Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Information Security and Data Protection relevant to your job, function and location.
- Meeting client KPI and SLA requirements.
- Creating a production schedule
- Estimating the budget, cost and quantity of materials, human labour and other tools necessary for the completion of the project;
- Streamlining processes so that production can meet deadlines;
- Communicating with other departments regarding production schedules and any possible changes;
- Applying their knowledge of maths and statistics to real-world scenarios;
- Using computer technology relating to enterprise resource planning (ERP).
