Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid/Smart Working)

Salary GBP70,000 – GBP75,000 Per Annum Plus Benefits

Permanent, Full Time

37 hours per week (Monday Friday, Flexibility Negotiable)

Thrive Homes is looking for an exceptional home ownership expert who can inspire and lead their Home Ownership Team to deliver top–notch service to customers. As the leader of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring that your colleagues are motivated and focused on delivering efficient, effective, and responsive services. Your focus on performance and colleague development will enable the team to exceed expectations and achieve success.

Additionally, you will proactively manage the partner relationships, ensuring compliance with contract terms where we manage for other organisations. Other Responsibilities:

• Be accountable and improve customer service for tenants, leaseholders and shared owners who live in flat blocks, ensure they are getting the right information.
• Proactively manage the relationship with managing agents and where we manage for others.
• To proactively manage Thrive Places, ensuring commercial delivery of our market rent portfolio and performance reporting for the board.
• Develop partnerships with key stakeholders and network to create new business opportunities.
• Be responsible to oversee consultation with customers about future major works and improvements plans to our buildings.
• To manage budgets and maximise our income, including service charge collection and develop reporting so that the business monitors delivery and recovers all appropriate cost.
• Ensure the information we collect; process and transfer are accurate and managed in a safe and secure way.
• Seek out opportunities to improve the environmental impact of what we do and how we do things.
• Improve and increase customer engagement in particular legislative requirements under building safety.
• To better manage our customers expectations by providing an open line of communication whilst being an advocate for our tenants, leaseholders, and shared owners.
• Support the production of Board and committee assurance and compliance reporting.

Requirements:

• Ability to demonstrate and lead a Customer First approach.
• Demonstratable experience applying relevant qualification within work experience and holding a formal CIH qualification at 5 level (or to be willing to work towards this) is important.
• Extensive experience in shared ownership and leasehold management, including an understanding of managing blocks in mixed tenure environment, market rent and rent to home buy.
• Strong experience of managing contracts for others, overseeing commercial contracts and developing partnership relationships
• Working knowledge of the legal aspects of leasehold, landlord and tenancy legislation, regulation and building safety.
• Experience of rent and service charge setting and collection with the ability to drive forward performance improvement.
