Business Development Manager required for my client who work within the test and measurement industry of engineering.
The role is UK based and you will be home based with expectations of regular travel to the companies’ offices, customers and suppliers. Your territory will include both the UK and Ireland.
My client delivers on the design, specification and distribution of specialist electronic components and systems, lighting technologies and connectivity products that help our customers produce better equipment, improve efficiency and achieve superior performance.
Your territory will include both the UK and Ireland.
Business Development Manager Position Overview
- A strategic Business Development Manager to work with a range of Test Principals offering General Purpose & RF Test Equipment, PSUs, EMC Monitoring, RF Power Measurement and other Test and Measurement (T&M) Products.
- Reporting into the Sales Director, your focus will be to provide a technical lead on this broad range of products whilst growing new opportunities, through a deeper penetration of the customer base with both existing and new clients.
- Responsible for maintaining existing business in a range of T&M customers and prospects.
- Requires identification, development and conversion of new sales leads, the professional presentation of the company’s complete portfolio to new and existing clients and developing and maintaining solid relationship with prospective new contacts and existing clients.
- Produce annual bookings forecast with monthly rolling updates to meet/exceed the needs of the Business.
Business Development Manager Position Requirements
- Experience working in senior new business commercial role within Test & Measurement Market.
- Technically competent across the range of T&M products with wider experience of the trends within this market sector.
- Must have experience working in B2B sales role ideally within a multi-channel / distribution environment.
- Ideally degree educated (or with relevant commercial experience) with proven written and presentation skills.
- Full UK Driving License.
Business Development Manager Position Remuneration
- £28,000 to £75,000 + uncapped commission, bonus scheme + car allowance.
- UK based role – based out of your own home, travel required.
- Full time position – 40 hours a week.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
