Job description
Our client is looking for a Learning & Development Partner for a permanent position, located in Aberdeenshire (Hybrid Working)
ROLE
The role involves partnering with key stakeholders to assess, design, and implement learning and development initiatives that support business objectives and employee growth. The Learning and Development Partner is responsible for the full learning and development cycle, including needs analysis, program design and development, delivery, and evaluation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement plans for learning and development across the business resulting in demonstrable business impact
- Work with colleagues and stakeholders to design, develop and implement strategic learning solutions to enhance the employee journey
- Create engaging onboarding programmes to drive engagement and the employee experience
- Create a suite of eLearning modules for induction, training and competency and compliance
- Create and implement apprenticeship, graduate, and intern programmes
- Develop a modern and transparent approach to career progression, succession planning and mobility
- Develop and deliver innovative development centres and programmes that systematically identify and prepare leaders and management capability at all levels of the organisation
- Partner with operational and HR teams to enhance the existing Training and Competency programme
- Deliver team development programmes to support a culture of high performing teams
- Design learning roadmaps for critical roles identifying both mandatory and role specific development needs
- Develop a blended approach to learning including eLearning, virtual and face to face learning events
- Evaluate the impact of learning activities, demonstrating a return on investment for stakeholders
- Develop, monitor and present key learning metrics to support business decision making and demonstrate the impact of a range of development activities
- Create sustainable relationships with local schools, colleges and universities to attract future talent
- Manage relationships with external suppliers to create and implement innovative learning solutions to budget
- Create learning directories to provide visibility of content for all regions
- Keeps abreast of market developments and stays ahead of our competition in terms of best practice in Organisational Development
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Highly experienced in the entire learning and development cycle
- CIPD qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience in 360–degree feedback and psychometric tools
- Experience in talent management, succession planning and development
- Experience in Training and Competency preferably within the Energy industry
- Project management experience the ability to take an idea from concept to completion whilst influencing senior stakeholders
- Excellent use of IT and Microsoft packages
- Financial acumen and experience of using data to influence strategic direction
